Flowers on the floor (a guest post)
October 9, 2008
Hi,
Kumutha Chandrika is a photographer from Coimbatore. I was really impressed by her pictures and decided to feature her favorites here.
Blurb from the photographer: “Pavazhamalli” (in Tamil) - one of my favorite subjects. These flowers used for prayer must be picked from the ground and not plucked from the plant… I had to practically lie down flat on the floor to take this picture. Shot early in the morning with the sunlight washing the floor with some fill-in flash.
Cheers
Kaber
